Lynsey Baker, MSN, RN
Lynsey Baker began her professional journey in education as an elementary teacher with Teach For America, an experience that grounded her commitment to student-centered learning and meeting learners where they are. Motivated to expand her impact within healthcare, she returned to school to pursue nursing and worked clinically in emergency medicine, where she developed a strong appreciation for compassionate, patient-centered care.
Her career has come full circle as she returned to the classroom as a nurse educator, teaching in undergraduate and graduate prelicensure nursing programs. Lynsey teaches across traditional classroom, clinical, and simulation-based settings. She emphasizes the importance of compassion and critical thinking, recognizing that nursing is a profession rooted in meaningful human connection and one that directly influences patient and family outcomes.
She currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing, dedicated to fostering confidence, competence, and compassion in the next generation of nurses.
